DimDj and Athens Computer Underground seem to share a common vision on this tape , by using acid music , a genre that sprung up and sonically captured the frenetic , edgy tempo of capitalist and technological explosion of the 80s and 90s in a contrasting mode of use, as a way of stepping back from the world of hyper-visibility, into the half-dark space of dream images, as the genre of lingering.
